Bridging the gap between the farm and the dinner table is at the heart of what we do. Our Poultry in Motion program offers students a firsthand look at how chicken is raised right here in British Columbia and highlights the dedicated local farmers who produce our food.

How it Works

To make the most of our visit, we require a full-day booking per school. While we do not charge a fee for our presentations, we ask that schools coordinate internally to ensure Farmer Amanda can visit multiple classes or grades throughout the day.

• Duration: Full school day (multiple presentations).

• Coordination: We encourage teachers to collaborate with colleagues to fill a day’s schedule with various groups.

Meet Farmer Amanda

Our presenter, Farmer Amanda, doesn't just talk about farming—she lives it! Raising chickens on her own farm in Chilliwack, she brings authentic stories and expertise to every session. Her passion for local food production helps students understand the work that goes into the food they eat every day.
